Yued Traditional Owners Visit Met Mast Site

Green Wind Renewables was pleased to welcome members of the Yued Traditional Owners to the Mahogany Wind Farm meteorological (met) mast site in early October 2025. The site visit was an opportunity to strengthen relationships, share knowledge, and ensure cultural heritage values remain central to the project’s development.

During the visit, Yued representatives observed early civil works to confirm there were no impacts to cultural heritage, toured the met mast site, and met with the project team to discuss the progress of the Mahogany Wind Farm. These conversations provided meaningful guidance on how cultural values can be reflected in ongoing planning and development.

“It’s incredibly valuable for our team to listen and learn directly from Traditional Owners,” said Daniel Cotter, Director of Development at Green Wind Renewables. “We are committed to working together to ensure cultural heritage is respected and protected throughout the project.”

Green Wind Renewables is dedicated to delivering sustainable energy while prioritising environmental protection and cultural heritage. The company values its strong relationship with the Yued Traditional Owners and looks forward to continued collaboration built on shared respect and responsibility.
