Green Wind Renewables has completed the installation of a 150-metre meteorological (met) mast at the Mahogany Wind Farm site, marking a significant milestone in the project’s early development.
The mast represents the project’s first on-ground activity and will collect essential data – including wind speed, wind direction, temperature, and air pressure – to inform wind turbine selection, optimise site layout and project design, and support environmental assessments.
Green Wind Renewables will continue to work closely with local communities, landholders, and Traditional Owners as the project progresses. The met mast will collect wind data over an extended period, typically two to three years, to support ongoing project development and investment readiness.
